Wake Forest Power is now utilizing Facebook to expand its outreach and communications efforts.
According to Public Works Director Magda Holloway, the popular social media site offers an effective means of communicating directly with Wake Forest Power customers concerning the utility’s programs, services, events and more.
“We are extremely excited about the opportunity to more effectively connect and engage with our customers via Facebook,” said Holloway.
“Social media offers us an excellent way to encourage them to learn more about our employees, our customer programs and services, and our efforts in the community. It’s also a great way for customers to stay informed during outages and severe weather events.”
Anyone interested in receiving regular updates about Wake Forest Power is encouraged to “Like” the utility on Facebook. The Wake Forest Power Facebook page is located at www.facebook.com/WakeForestPower/.
