Elsie Pearce Shearon, 98, of Wake Forest passed away on Tuesday morning, October 9, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Sarah Pearl Newton Pearce and James Leonard Pearce. She was preceded in death by her husband; Vassar Peace Shearon.
A funeral service will be held at 11 o’clock Friday morning October 12, 2018 at the Rolesville Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Shearon is survived by her daughters; Lois Murphy (Thurman), Alice Peace Shearon, Betty Rowland (Paul), grandchildren; Heather Lyerly (Wayne), Christi Melton (Jamie), Lisa McHenry (Roy), Amy Kotofsky (C.J.), Paul Rowland III, Sarah Rowland, great grandchildren; Tyler Melton, Benjamin McHenry, Wyatt McHenry, Kayleigh Kotofsky, Charlie Kotofsky, and Cameron Kotofsky.
The family would like to thank her care givers; Becky Finley and Donna Frazier for all their loving kindness .
