March 13, 2015 – Van Burns Next To Home
A van burned close to two homes on Trammel Ct Friday morning. Engine #1 arrived to find the van fully involved with fire and quickly extinguished the blaze before the fire could spread to the homes. No injuries were reported.
March 13, 2015 – Dump Truck Fire on I-540
Engine #5 responded to this dump truck fire on I-540 westbound between Falls of Neuse and Six Forks Rd. Mechanical issues led to the blaze and the driver was able to escape unharmed.
March 14, 2015 – Car Fire at Bojangles
A car in the Bojangles parking lot on Cloverleaf Dr caught on fire Saturday morning. A fire extinguisher was used in attempt to put the fire out before fire crews arrived but was unsuccessful. Engine #1 and Ladder #1 arrived and quickly extinguished the fire.
March 14, 2015 – Person Trapped in Car Accident
Engine #1 and Ladder #1 had to cut the door off of this car after it was involved in an accident and Wake Union Church Rd and Capital Blvd. The car was involved in the accident after the driver ran from law enforcement. Only minor injuries were reported.
March 15, 2015 – Car Rolls On It’s Side
Engine #2 and Ladder #1 responded to a vehicle accident on Ligon Mill and Lightfoot Ct Sunday. When they arrived, they found the vehicle on it’s side with the driver still in the vehicle,unharmed. Engine #2 assisted the driver from the car through the top passenger door. The driver was uninjured.
