Job Description:

Kids-R-Kids Learning Academy of Wake Forest is seeking a professional, experienced Director for our private preschool. Our ideal candidate has a positive, upbeat personality, genuine love for children, management experience in a large preschool environment, an understanding of exceptional customer service, and strong organizational skills. As Director, you are responsible for the overall operation of the school. You should exude a professional and positive image, promote teamwork and enthusiasm, and be committed to fostering a safe environment for growth and learning.Minimum Requirements-****Please Do Not Apply Unless You Are A Level III Administrator****

A friendly and outgoing personality that can relate well to children and adults.

Level III North Carolina Early Childhood Administrator Credential (NCECAC)

Must meet NC Specific educational and licensing requirements for 5 Star Director position- Additional Academy requirements may apply.

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent work experience

Excellent understanding of NC rating scales and state licensing standards

Familiar with NAEYC / AdvancED accreditations and licensing standards

A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a five star licensed child care center as an administrator.

Computer literacy required, proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or ProCare a plus

Valid CPR and First Aid Certification

Excellent work attendance and ability to work flexible hours to cover and complete all responsibilities

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds multiple times daily if needed

Responsibilities include but are not limited to-

Manage all operations of the school related to education, staffing, quality assurance, and customer relations.

Ensure compliance with NC State and Federal laws, Academy and KRK corporate policies and procedures at all times.

Work with Assistant director to ensure classroom curriculum goals are met daily

Develop strong relationship with staff, parents, and our community representing our school with professionalism and integrity.

Work closely with the owners to implement and overseeing effective internal and external marketing plans.

Ensure weekly email/ social media contact to keep families informed about school activities and initiatives

Ensure followup on all enrollment inquiries and conduct tours for prospective families

Recruit and train qualified associates

Evaluate associates with regular and specific feedback through classroom observations and performance reviews

Create effective staff schedules to ensure operation of classrooms within specified ratio requirements

Plan and lead staff meetings, training sessions, open houses and marketing opportunities

Ensure that the staff presents a professional image and adheres to Academy dress code.

Evaluating food purchases, preparation and service of all meals and snacks to ensure proper nutritional benefits

Transporting children and staff in Academy vehicles as needed

Alternate with administrators to open the Academy by 6:30am and close at 6:30pm.
