Frank Paul Savo, 69, of Franklinton, passed away November 1, 2019, in Durham, North Carolina. He was born February 10, 1950 in Bridgeport, CT, the son of the late Dante and Viola (Garray) Savo.
Frank owned and operated, Frank’s Mobile Truck Repair in Franklinton, North Carolina. Frank was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, always sharing his love, care and support to his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his dedication to his business and support he showed to all who he came in contact with. Frank was known to many, as a man’s man, a John Wayne type.
Frank had many interests, some of which were: riding his motorcycle, going on trips to ride his Side by Side, walking with his wife, Marylee. He also enjoyed the times he took his grandson for ice-cream, cracking jokes with his son Adam, business chats with his daughter Lerin, and he also enjoyed sharing his business knowledge with those who were eager to learn.
Frank is survived by his wife of 33 years, Marylee Savo of Franklinton; his children: Lerin Martin and her husband Raymond of Port St. Lucie, FL, Adam Savo of Youngsville, Frank Savo Jr., and step-son, Lance Irwin and his wife Shannon of Youngsville; He has three Grandchildren: Keegan Martin, Connor Irwin, Zachary Irwin.
A time of Celebrating Frank’s life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 2-4 pm, with a time of sharing beginning at 2:30 pm. in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main St. Wake Forest, NC 27587.
