She loved life and all there was to taste, hear, and embrace: concerts, the beach, music, cooking gadgets, and home decor. In recent years, the Outer Banks beach trip was the highlight of her year when she invited countless family and friends to come and relax. She was a loyal friend, generous employer and sacrificial mother and if you were lucky enough to meet her, her determination and love-life attitude are well remembered.
