Busy Day for the Wake Forest Fire Department and Llamas

Friday afternoon the Wake Forest Fire Department was called to a structure fire at 755 S. White Street at the Turnberry Apartments. Luckily it turned out to be a localized alleged stove fire and the entire complex was not involved. One resident received treatment for a breathing difficulties.

You can see the video below of a Wake Forest Fire Department truck rolling up and one already at the front of the complex. Wake EMS was on the scene right away as well.

And immediately following the structure fire call a dispatch went out for a sick person at one of out assisted living facilities. Ironically they had a pair of llamas out front who were entirely enthralled by Wake Forest Fire Department Engine 2 as it rolled up.

The firefighters gave the llamas a “how you doin'” nod and went on to compassionately care for a very sick resident.
