Tribute
Yerka Radov Koscica, 93 of Youngsville, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021. She was born September 16, 1927 in Olib, Croatia, to the late Marion and Lucija Radov. Yerka was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. She enjoyed travelling back to Croatia with her husband where they had a home, praying the Rosary, being with her family, and being a Nana to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Sime M. Koscica, in 2018, four sisters, and two brothers.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Janet Wallace and husband Bernie of Terre Haute, IN, three sons, Anthony Koscica and wife Denise of Youngsville, John Koscia and wife Marion of Raleigh, and Sam Koscica and wife Lorie of Raleigh, seven grandchildren, Julie, Bernie, Vonnie, Adam, Ashley, Leandra, and Nicole, and many great and great-great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Father David Miller officiating. Entombment will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Wake Forest. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday evening at Bright Funeral Home and cremation Center in Wake Forest.
