Marie Bowden, 78, of Wake Forest, NC passed away peacefully on June 27 at Granville House. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ina Belle Keith and father, Leon Keith. Marie loved the Lord and her family. She is survived by her two daughters, Tammy (Charles) Hodges and Christy (Rick) Kinder. Marie was a proud grandmother of Ben (Misty)Hodges, Josh (Katie) Hodges and Cameron Kinder, as well as great grandchildren: Alex Hodges, Matthew Hodges, Christian Baynes, Caleb Hodges and Cullen Hodges. She also leaves behind a brother, Douglas (Shirley) Keith .
Marie worked in manufacturing at Schrader Bellows and Athey Products before retiring to care for her parents.
The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Granville House and Amedisys Hospice for their compassionate care.

A funeral service will be held at Bright’s Funeral Home on Thursday, July 1 at 2:00. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until 1:45, prior to the service.
