Betty Jean Kinton Pearce, 70, of Wake Forest, died on Thursday, the 8th of July 2021 at her residence. She was born on October 21st, 1950 the daughter of the late Dennis L. Kinton, Sr. and Zelma Pearson Kinton.
Betty retired with Nationwide Insurance Company after 40 years of faithful service. She was a faithful and devoted member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Youngsville, NC.
She is survived by her Husband, Kenneth R. Pearce, Sr. of Wake Forest; Daughter-in-Law; Janice Pearce of Zebulon; brother, Bobby Kinton of Youngsville; brother and sisters in law, Tommy Pearce and his wife Marsha of Rolesville and Brooks Pearce and his wife Mickey of Wake Forest; Grandchildren, McKayla Faith Pearce and Mason Gray Pearce. She was, preceded in death by her son Ken Pearce, Jr. and brothers, Dennis L. Kinton, Jr. and Curtis Kinton.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the Pearce family on Sunday, the 11th, of July 2021 from 1 until the hour of 2 o’clock in the afternoon, in the Fellowship Hall of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, the 11th, of July at 2 o’clock in the afternoon in the Sanctuary of Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Reverend’s Joey Chafton and Jason Wilkes officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. A reception will follow the burial in the fellowship hall.
Flowers are welcomed, however, Memorial Contributions may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 2124 Oak Grove Church Road, Youngsville, NC 27596.
