Tribute
Wayne Henderson Wheeler, 28, of Franklinton, NC. went to be with the Lord on August 27 2021. After a short severe battle with COVID. Wayne was born on March 30, 1993 at 3:30 pm weighing 9lbs 15oz at Rex Hospital in Raleigh NC. Wayne from a young age had a very strong work ethic, and he would be the first one to give the shirt off his back to help anyone regardless of race, creed or color. Wayne was currently working at Nutrien Ag Solutions in Bunn, NC as a sprayer operator and a truck driver. He has worked with Nutrien for 7 years. Where he worked hard there and felt them to be his second family. Wayne was a very social person, no matter where he went he could talk and make Friends with anyone. Everyone just loved Wayne!!!
However he would go home and work on the family farm as long as his Dad and Brother were doing something Wayne was always available. Even though he was a hard worker he also knew how to have a good time. He could brighten up any room he walked into with his contagious smile, and he could liven up any party with his quirky personality. He is survived by his parents Edward and Laurel Wheeler, brother Gilbert Wheeler. His Girlfriend Bryanne Kilmer for almost 3 years. Grandmother Doris Wheeler and many wonderful Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He was proceeded in Death by his grandfather, Harold Henderson Wheeler, Grandfather Gorrell Thompson, and Grandmother Mildred Thompson.
In lieu of Flowers, donations are kindly requested to be made to Flat Rock Baptist Church 1529 Flat Rock Church Road Louisburg, NC 27549 (The building fund) or the memorial fund in Wayne’s honor on Facebook.
The family would like to express our deepest up most gratitude for all the support and blessings that have been given through this rough time.
