Jean Elizabeth Stewart, 82, of Wake Forest passed away on Friday morning September 10, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Lancaster, SC daughter of the late Roddy and Carrie McKenzie and was also preceded in death by her husband; George Stewart, a son; Michael Stewart and a great granddaughter; Charlotte Anne Ackroyd.
A funeral service will be held at 12 o’clock Friday afternoon, September 17, 2021 in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Stony Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by her sons: Wayne Stewart of Jacksonville, FL, Brad Stewart and wife Leanne of Wake Forest; grandchildren: Jason Stewart, Jeremy Stewart and his wife Jessica, George Stewart, Ashley Hall and husband Brian, Brittany Stewart and fiancée Justin Burris, Karlee Ackroyd and her husband Eric, Chelsey Pilcher and Alyson Pilcher; great grandchildren: Allison Stewart, Nathan Stewart, Savannah Ackroyd, Camden Hall and Lila Hall.
