Tribute
Betty Temple Allen, 78, of Raleigh, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at The Covington in Raleigh. She was born in Middlesex, NC on August 6, 1943 to the late William Lloyd Temple and Lila Mae Hinnant of Wendell. Betty was Mrs. self- employed as a hairdresser for many years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Allen and by her son Brian Allen. Betty is survived by her daughter Donna Kelley and husband Billy of Wake Forest; a grandson Bradley Kelley and wife Barbara; a granddaughter Kristine Kelley of Wake Forest; and grandson Justin Allen of Lillington; great grandchildren, Christian Herndon, Caitlin Sweeney, Peyton Brantley and Kayden Allen; a sister, Judy Christopher; and a niece Dana Williams of Alabama.
A Memorial service will be held at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 3:00. Flowers are accepted or memorials to Community Home Care and Hospice of Raleigh.
