Anna Katherine “Oma” Mueller of Wake Forest, North Carolina passed from this life on October 13, 2021. She was 82 years old and the devoted mother of Chriss and Joseph Guadagno and Lisa Jett. Born in Heidelberg, Germany to Josef Alois Schroll and Elizabeth Mertel, she was the loving Grandmother of Nicole Tarplee, Lauren and Olivia Guadagno, Grant Christopher Stewart, and mother-in-law of Chris Jett, Lisa’s husband.
Despite being born at the outset of World War II, with her formative years shaped by the hardships of worn torn Germany, she persevered through many challenges yet committed herself to raising three wonderful children and a loving family—Oma’s Legacy.
Oma was warm, loved hugs, and never knew a stranger. She loved her family and friends with the heart of a servant and her mastery of the culinary arts, which brought great joy not only to her but to all who had the honor to know and love her.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main Street, Wake Forest, NC, 27587.
