Christa Brandt – Obituary

Christa “Chris” Brandt, 83, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at her residence. Chris met her husband while he was stationed in the Army in Germany where they were married and lived for several years before making their home in New York.  Chris and Don enjoyed traveling to different countries and went on many trips.

She had several different jobs in New York.  She worked for many years at a dry cleaners; as an accountant in Don’s businesses and she was working in the Boy’s Department at Macy’s when she retired.

Chris moved to Youngsville, North Carolina shortly after her husband’s death in 2005 to spend more time with her grandchildren.  She moved to Raleigh in 2016.

She was a member of many groups and clubs: the Raleigh Stamp Club, GAST Club, (a German American Club), AARP, 55 Plus Club at Ann Gordon Senior Center, and Lake Lynn Senior Club.
