Wake Forest Fire Department Rescues Puppy from Certain Death

The Wake Forest Fire Department gets called on for a lot of issues. Sure, there are putting out fires and helping people in car accidents. But saving a 9-month-old puppy from a drain has to be among the coolest of the requests.

That’s exactly what happened recently when a puppy fell into a six inch drain pipe at 755 S. White Street.

Wake Forest Engine 1 raced over there and spent quite a bit of time digging out around the drain and then cut the pipe to pull the puppy to safety.

Three cheers for Wake Forest Engine 1! – Source
