Ronald Davis Price, 80, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022.
Ronald was the kind of person who never met a stranger. He was outspoken and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He was a hard worker who began delivering papers for the News and Observer as a child; a job which he greatly enjoyed and that lasted into adulthood.
Ronald graduated from Needham Broughton High School in Raleigh in 1959 and then served briefly with the United States Army. Ronald loved living and working in Raleigh. He never had the desire to move any other place and was proud to call North Carolina home. He had a zest for life, finding reasons to appreciate every day he was given, and would have happily lived forever. He was loved and will be missed by many.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Davis and Ella Rue Price.
He is survived by his sister Melba Price and the family members who lovingly cared for him, Bruce and Jill Alford.
Bright Funeral Home is caring for this family. A graveside service will be held for Mr. Price on Friday, April 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Raleigh Memorial Park Cemetery.
