Consumer Statement:
I signed up for debt relief at The Litigation Practice Group over 2 1/2 years ago.
I was paying them $371.22 per month. That totals over $11000.
I was told my debt would be settled within a year OR two. It now is over that timeline.
My credit has been ruined and I am still, to this day, getting settlement Default Affidavits in the mail.
I decided to stop paying them because I feel I am being scammed. I looked them up on the Better Business website and apparently, this is a common problem.
There are many complaints about the same thing I am going through.
I requested a refund and all I get is this constant runaround that someone by the name of Mallory was going to call me about getting the refund.
For weeks I’ve been waiting to hear from her and she keeps telling me she tried calling but her calls went straight to voicemail, which is a lie because I would sit next to the phone waiting for her to call.
Consumer Action Taken:
As I said, I’ve tried contacting the person responsible for this and all I get is a constant excuse.
