Loving husband and father, Fred Johnson Pigott, 74, of Youngsville, NC, died peacefully Saturday evening, April 16, 2022 at UNC Rex Healthcare. He was born in Wake County and was the son of the late George and Thelma Pigott. After graduating from Broughton High School in Raleigh, Fred joined the military. After serving in the United States Coast Guard, he went on to be a salesman and later joined his lifelong friend, Rod Bannerman, in the construction industry.
Fred is survived by his wife, Cindy Pigott; daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Jason Panavich of Raleigh; sister Dianne Nichols of Raleigh; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life is planned for a later date in Raleigh.
