John was born in Missouri on October 11th, 1948 and moved to Raleigh, NC. John attended Broughton High School in Raleigh, NC. John was in The Navy as a Medic and served during The Vietnam War and received a Purple Heart. John was the lead singer of many bands, including Th’ Cigaretz & The Subliminal Surge. John was commonly referred to as “Jake or JK” as he was an Actor in Raleigh,NC. JK’s most famous role was portraying “Jacob Marley” in Christmas Carol.
