Peggy Barbour, Loving Mother, Grandmother, Greatgrandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend, passed away in her home July 1, 2022 surrounded by her family after a three year battle with ovarian cancer. Born in Raleigh September 27, 1945 to Alvin and Nellie Keith, she was the middle sister of Margie Keith Murray and Garvie Keith. She worked in the insurance business for many years, later at Belk in Raleigh and most recently with her son, Keith, in his retail store, Lloyd & Lady Boutiques, in Raleigh. The most special, loving, caring, giving woman we have ever known. Her laugh was infectious and she always wanted to make others laugh and smile. Family was her number one priority. She was our rock and guiding hand for 76 years. We are heartbroken but know "to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord." We will see you again.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents James Alvin Keith and Nellie Francis Keith, sister Margie Keith Murray, and nephew Mike Murray.
She is survived by sons Keith Lloyd and David Lloyd (Brittany); grandchildren Hannah Webb (Connor), Matthew Lloyd, Bryn Llord, Parker Lloyd, and Brody Lloyd; great-grandchildren Blair Connor Webb and Averett Webb; brother Garvie Keith (Eva); nephew and niece Brian Keith (Joy) and Denise Fain (Wendell); and grand-nephews Seth Keith (Caitlin), Zachery Fain, and Dillon Fain.
