This is actually the reverse of a pothole. New home construction at 119 or 125 W Oak Ave, they had to go across the road for utilities. When they repaved, they paved too high, and effectively have now created a speed bump. The contractor needs to lower the new paving to be closer to the height of the road. I understand the pavement and subgrade will compress some over time, but they have made this repair too high, and it will always be a speed bump. Please require the contractor to adjust this pavement repair to a lower height.
