This is not to draw attention to 804 Brewer Ave, but to the traffic and speeding of people cutting through Royal Mill. Children and people walking this neighborhood want a safe neighborhood, not a throughway.
I See there are duplicates to this request. With wealth of expansions of houses/neighborhoods nearby the Royal Mill, there seems to be an abundance of traffice going through the Royal Mill. Morning, the kids going to school drive exremely fast, cutting through the side roads to get to N. Main. People going to work do the same. One can be outside their home the know the speeds, that cars are coming down side roads, is dangerously fast as well as NOT stopping at the Stop Signs. Wasn’t there a time when the town was planning to continue Harris Rd over to N. White. Can this seriously be re-considered?? With all the new contruction and people moving to our town, tax money must be there to perform this continuation of Harris. Maybe place speed bumps throughout the Mill. Just placing them on Brewer Ave would only force the traffic and speeders down our side roads and get there as fast as they can. Or should people, who want this issue taken care of, write to the Planning Board to find some solution.
