The annual Meet in the Street in downtown Wake Forest drew large crowds this year and gave the opportunity for WFFD to show the community some of the things that we do each and every day. This year, the WFFD had a miniature obstacle course set up for children complete with a fire hose used to extinguish “fire” (as pictured here). Our smokehouse was also used and taught an estimated 300 children what to do in smokey conditions present at a house fire.
