Paper Shreds Burn in Truck

A truck carrying paper shreds caught on fire on Vanagrif Ct Tuesday evening in Heritage. When Battalion #1 arrived, heavy smoke was pouring out of the cargo area of the truck. Engine #1 quickly extinguished the fire that was fueled by paper shreds before any damage occurred to the mechanical components of the truck.

Vehicle Fire on S. Main Street

Engine #2 and Battalion #1 responded to a vehicle fire at the intersection of S. Main Street and Capital Blvd Tuesday afternoon. Engine #2 arrived and found an active fire in the engine compartment of the vehicle. S. Main street was shut down while the fire was being extinguished.
